This year we welcome HIVE, Freeplay from Toronto, Canada, UNT Green Tones, Booker T. Washington Vocal Jazz, and special guest, Drew Wheaton, our Festival Chorus director! In this rich community of choral music in Texas, there is a vastly growing amount of a cappella bursting onto the scene and TVAC is all about taking it to the next level! TVAC is designed for vocal music enthusiasts of all ages and styles. No matter if you are just beginning your exploration into contemporary a cappella or you have a rich culture already instilled, TVAC is meant for you!

Plan your weekend and travel for Friday, November 15 to Saturday, November 16 so you can take full advantage with an All-Access Pass. Beginning Friday at 1:00 p.m. we have workshops, masterclasses, Festival Chorus rehearsal, a feature performance for a select junior high/middle school group, and a high school and collegiate level scholastic competition. Continuing on to Saturday we have specialty workshops and masterclasses with industry experts, and Aca-Bombs for our newly established groups! Participants will get to plan their classes and attend the areas THEY choose!

Sign up to sing in the Festival Chorus. Music will be selected by Drew Wheaton and PDFs and digital learning media sent to you via email. Singers should come prepared to make music and a memorable performance for the Saturday Night Spectacular! We will only have two short rehearsals before soundcheck, so come ready to rock! All voice parts are welcome and you do NOT have to be in an established a cappella group in order to participate. Scholastic competitors can participate in the Friday competition as well as the Festival Chorus on Saturday if they choose to do so.
